MaKenzie Beck Photography: Clora and Greg Engaged

It all started about six years ago, with a photo. Clora had seen a picture of this guy her friend knew and was struck by how handsome he was, but she was in a relationship at the time so didn’t put too much thought into it. Just a little while later, as her current relationship was coming to an end, that same friend introduced Clora to the guy from the photo, Greg. From day one liking Greg came naturally for Clora- It just felt right. It took Greg a little longer, but one night while they were watching Night at the Roxbury, Greg realized how amazing Clora is and there was no stopping his fall for her.

Clora and Greg dated for a while and then called it off, but made a point to be friends- in fact, they were each others’ best friend. As their lives brought different people around, along with that heartache, they were there for the other. Clora told me that she would come home from a date and just want to call Greg and talk to him. They did this and would talk for hours. E-v-e-r-y time! I asked Greg how that effected him, he said it wasn’t fun, but that he just knew that he would be with Clora in the end and they, for whatever reason, needed those experiences in life. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE GUY!!!

I met Clora and Greg in their “apart” period and I often thought that they were meant for each other! You could just tell in the way Greg looked at Clora and the way Clora was when Greg was close, or far. When they got back together, they knew it was right. He loved her and she loved him. After all this time they were confident in it. There is no denying they are meant for each other! Their love is so beautiful.

Clora is an absolutely amazing person! She is fun, sweet, out going and once you meet her you feel like she is your best friend instantly! Honestly, from day one, I have admired the person she is. And I love spending time with her!
Greg is more reserved, so it does take a bit longer to discover who he is, but once you do you see that he is just one of the greatest guys out there! He is fun, genuine, and incredibly nice to everyone! He's the kind of guy you want on your side.
Seriously, this couple is AMAZING! I’m so glad they let me document their love with this engagement session! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed the company I was lucky enough to have while taking them.

For this session Clora and Greg chose the 16^th Street Mall area in Downtown Denver. It was great for me because I was able to try something new with posing people while using architecture!
